In that year he published at Rotterdam Recueil de Pieces curieuses sur les matieres les plus interessantes, etc.
This making much noise, and being in danger of prosecution, he changed the title to Ceremonies Superstitieuses des Juifs, and also to Reflexions Curieuses d'un Esprit Desinteresse, 1678.
In 1644 he issued, also at Leyden, a book probably intended as reading material for his pupils, and called Les Lecons publiques du sieur de la Barre, prises sur les questions curieuses et problematiques des plus beaux esprits de ce temps.
Both memoirs are reprinted in the invaluable Archives curieuses of Messrs.
The above list will hopefully give you a few useful examples demonstrating the appropriate usage of "curieuses" in a variety of sentences. We hope that you will now be able to make sentences using this word.
