Vindicta Salvatoris, in which Joseph of Arimathea appears telling of his former captivity from which Christ Himself had delivered him.
Footnote 4: Vindicta was properly the rod which was laid on the head of a slave by the magistrate who emancipated him, or by one of his attendants: the word is supposed to be derived from vim dicere (to declare authority).
He is said to have been the first person made free by the vindicta; some think that even the term vindicta is derived from him, and that his name was Vindicius.
The above list will hopefully give you a few useful examples demonstrating the appropriate usage of "vindicta" in a variety of sentences. We hope that you will now be able to make sentences using this word.
